DATA PROTECTION

What data is collected?

1. Automatically collected data when visiting the website

We collect information and data that is automatically transmitted or generated by your browser each time you visit our website, such as: your IP address, the URLs of the websites from which you came to our websites, the browser used, the browser language, the operating system and interface used, the access device with which the services are used, the date and time of access, the pages accessed our websites and the time you spend on our websites. The data is stored for a period of 12 months and then automatically deleted.

2.  Search and bookings

We store data about search queries for a period of up to 12 months. These are all pseudonymous data. We do not know who is conducting searches on our platform.

3.  Support requests

If you contact us or our Customer Service (for example, by e-mail, telephone or contact form) or use our feedback tools, we will use the information you provide (your contact information) to respond to your request. Your requests will be kept for a period of one year after answering. As far as business letters in the sense of Trade or tax law, we keep the correspondence for the statutory periods (usually six years).

4. Newsletter and marketing e-mails

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will receive by e-mail regularly a newsletter and marketing e-mails which contain information about our offer and advertising for offers of third parties (especially bus lines and connections, travel, accommodation).

You may give your consent to receive such emails at any time, e.g. revoke via the unsubscribe link in our emails.

With revocation or cancellation of the newsletter, your contact details will be deleted.

5. Use of cookies, web-beacons and similar procedures

Like almost all service providers, we use cookies, web beacons or similar procedures when you visit our websites or use our services.

Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser on your computer or mobile device, and allow the recognition of your computer or device, possibly even across different websites. The cookies do not contain any personal information. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). 6. Retargeting

Our landing pages use so-called "retargeting tags" to place interest-based advertising on third-party websites. 7. Conversion Tracking

We use the offer of external advertising partners to draw attention to our offers with the help of advertising material on external websites. We also use marketing tools to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are ("conversion tracking"). We are interested in showing you advertisements that are of your interest, to make our website more interesting to you and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.

For this purpose, our advertising partners set cookies and web beacons (see above), which can be used to measure certain parameters for performance calculations, such as the display of ads or clicks by the users. Due to the conversion tracking tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the server of the advertising partners. We do not have any control over the size and other usage of data collected through the use of this tool by the advertising partners. Through the integration of marketing tools advertising partners receive the information that you called the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with our advertising partners (such as Facebook or Google), they may associate the visit with your account. Even if you are not registered or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find and store your IP address.

8. Web Analytics and Statistics // Google Analytics

We use "Google Analytics", a web analytics service provided by Google LLC on our websites. GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS DURING TRIPS

Check-in at the bus terminal

For national trips, all passengers must check-in at the counter of the bus Operator at least THIRTY (30) minutes before the indicated time of departure, proceeding to the exchange of their electronic ticket for the ticket of the Transport Operator. Most bus terminals in Bolivia and Peru charge an additional fee for the use of their spaces, which must be covered by the passenger. Passengers must confirm their registration details with the agents of the bus Operators. For international trips, passengers must register at least ONE HOUR before the indicated departure.

Documents and health requirements

Each destination has its own health requirements, regarding formalities to access the sites, vaccines and others, which may vary with the nationality of the passenger. It is the responsibility of each passenger to inform themselves and seek the necessary information. Any incident resulting from the lack of health documentation or failure to comply with national regulations will be the responsibility of the passengers and cannot be attributed to Bus Tickets Peru.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Cancellation requests

The Client can request the cancellation of one or more of his or her trips by email to the address: info@busticketsperu.com, by text message via Facebook or WhatsApp at the number (591) 77274661.

The Client does not have an automatic right of cancellation, unless the corresponding Third Party Provider specifies it in their own Special Terms and Conditions. In case of a total or partial cancellation of a reservation, compensation may be imposed by the corresponding Third Party Provider. When a cancellation affects more than one person included in the reservation, the corresponding cancellation fee will be applied to each person included in the reservation. In some cases, the cancellation compensation to be paid to the relevant Third Party Providers may amount to the full value of the booked trip, in which case no refund will be made to the Client.

You must take into consideration the following conditions to cancel passages in most cases:

• If the cancellation request is made at least 72 hours in advance, we will refund 80% of the cancelled ticket. It includes commissions and taxes.
• If the cancellation request is made at least 48 hours in advance, we will reimburse 50% of the cost of the ticket. It includes commissions and taxes.
• We will not refund tickets if the cancellation request is made less than 48 hours (2 business days) before the departure of the trip.

IMPORTANT:

Cancellation requests are NOT PROCESSED on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays. Requests are processed only on business days during working hours, Monday through Friday between 8:30 to 17:30. Payment gateways charge around US$ 1 for each refund, this amount that is not covered by Bolivia Tickets. Tickets Bolivia uses US dollars for all its transactions, your Bank may charge a commission when calculating the exchange rates with other currencies.
